why does hi need to mean sterile, inorganic, alien?

these are software constructs, simulations of easthetic ideals

aestheticlly pleasing materials, components, functions

ALan Kay hidden complexity, external and intenal richness

timeless materials,

you are so inured to high tech == product you dont notice

when things are made nicely they must be

art

or low tech

is a cooperative federation

of interconnected computing machines

it will run for a hundred years

mummified in a pyramid

it would remain intact after a millenia

only the internal silicon

and plastic and rubber parts

the "high tech" parts

would melt into each other

the rest would survive

survive use and human existence
