The bulk of the con/fest¨ workshops will be taking place here. School District has been very good about renting the¨ space to us and has already gotten some flak for doing it. Please¨ help us in maintaining good relations with them by observing the¨ following guidelines: \vskip\parskip { \parindent=12pt \item{1.}No smoking please, except in designated areas. \item{2.}Pick up after yourself and each other. \item{3.}Be out of the building by 9:30 pm. } Registration, merchandise, lost and found, and literature tables¨ will be set up in Magon Hall throughout the gathering. The¨ Without Borders Information Center, including bulletin boards for¨ workshop and event listings, public transportation,¨ announcements, rides etc. will be located here. In addition, we¨ will have an ongoing artists exhibit gallery in this space. Childcare is located in rooms 101 and 109. Restrooms are located on each floor of the building, as well as¨ in the outdoor courtyard area, look for signs. The Pa Chin Dining Room is at the far end of the courtyard. \medskip \centerline{\bf Parking} Parking in the Horace Mann School parking lot is limited to¨ special-needs parking only. \medskip\goodbreak \centerline{\bf Theatre Artaud -- 450 Florida Street} Theatre Artaud is part of Project Artaud, an old foundry complex¨ converted into performance and living space by squatters many¨ years ago. The theatre itself is a large space which we will have¨ from 8 pm to 12 midnight every night of the con/fest to use for¨ informal gatherings. It will be a place where people can meet,¨ talk, do low key performances, or simply hang out. Folks do live¨ in the complex and we need to respect their space and needs.¨ Artaud's location is marked on the map. \bigskip { \advance\hsize-6pt \baselineskip=17pt \boxit{1}{ \centerline{\hl no smoking please} \centerline{\hl in horace mann school} \centerline{\hl or theatre artaud} \centerline{\hl except in designated areas} } } \bigskip \centerline{\bf Anarchist Picnic in Dolores Park} Sunday, 23 July, will be a day-long anarchist picnic from 11 am¨ till dusk in Dolores Park, located at Dolores and 18th Streets in¨ the Mission. Picnics for organizing, socializing and fundraising¨ have a long tradition in anarchist communities throughout the¨ world. Here in the Bay Area they can be traced from the turn of¨ the century down to the present day. For this picnic we will be¨ providing tables for literature and soap boxes for oratory. Food¨ will be potluck and you are encouraged to bring musical¨ instruments and ideas for activities. \bye
